One critical thing that man has been seeking from the benefits of his labor for thousands of years is simple dignity among his fellow men. Yet even through self-perseverance of development, hopes are shattered as sacrifice after sacrifice simply moves most people horizontally through the relative socio-economic structures within which they live and work. Relative ability remains largely flat for most, and unbalanced loyalties are divided between family, fellow workers, a few immediate managers of merit and the firm. The firm holds no hand outward to provide the average employee with a sense of belonging, and as a result – alienated employees share no sense of belonging to the firm. Consequently, a malaise develops and will continue to develop that will plague the productiveness of all employees. This consistency within society will not change until those accountable for determining work requirements – develop frameworks that cause individual employees and entire work groups to want to excel throughout their careers.
